You can usually find tax reference number near the top or bottom of your payslip labeled as Tax reference or employer paye reference. The number usually identifies employer tax registration with HMRC. The format is usually like 123/XY12345. If you cannot find it on payslip you can also check on your P60 or contact your office payroll team for same. Read more about tax office reference number on payslip
